Maple Sugarin’ at Riveredge Nature Center
Bring the family and join us for an exciting winter adventure at beautiful Riveredge Nature Center in Saukville, Wisconsin. Madison Schools are closed on Feb 20, and this trip will be fun and fascinating for kids and grandkids 5 years and older. Maple syrup and pancakes are included! We will be engaged making maple syrup and learning its Menominee Native American history. We will also learn to identify and tap trees while surrounded by winter woodland beauty. Next year you can try it yourself!
The trip includes transportation by comfortable coach and lunch. We depart from the UW-Madison Arboretum Visitor Center at 7 AM and return by 4 PM. Cost is $120 per person and only $60 for kids aged 5 to 17!
Two all-terrain track chairs are available. Call 608-890-2555 to make a reservation.
Trip is limited to 52 participants. Online registration is the most efficient. If you prefer to register by mail please click here for a PDF registration form. If you take advantage of the discounted rates for kids, please use the mail-in option, as our online scheduling system does not accommodate multiple prices for the same event. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
