Description
For areas with full sun and dry or medium soil moisture, this shortgrass prairie mix includes native grasses and prairie flowers that will bloom throughout the season and attract pollinators and wildlife. Inspired by the newly established shortgrass prairie in the UW-Arboretum Native Garden, this garden includes plants such as Little Bluestem, Prairie Dropseed, Junegrass, Gray Goldenrod, Butterflyweed (milkweed), Ohio Spiderwort, and Rough Blazingstar. This garden will stay short (~2.5 ft. tall) and be easy to care for.
